My little man & I had a Cupcake Date. For several reasons:
I am quite the "over-praiser". Erik's always asking me why I took Kayson somewhere or why we bought this or did that. And I poke out my bottom lip and admit it was to celebrate something with Kayson. He just laughs. So maybe I like celebrations (party planner tying in?). All I can say is it was WORTH IT!!!!
#1. We've both been craving this cute little place & can never get there before they close.
#2. It was the last day before a rough diet
#3. We needed some "us" time in the sun.
#4. Drum Roll please....it was the 1st day Kayson stayed dry ALL DAY LONG!!!

This place is in Layton on Main. If you love cupcakes as much as I do then definitely make a trip sometime! (Or just stop in to buy me one when I'm having a bad day..did I say that?)

Key Lime & Chocolate Coconut(Key Lime=BEST. CUPCAKE. EVER)
We ate our cupcakes at the park. Kayson didn't want the last few bites and yelled at the birds to come get it.We love feeding the ducks...we really do. But it always ends bad. Every time.
Here's why...
We get chased off by this shady monster!!!! That's right. Scarier in person I swear. When they are 3 feet away from you and not stopping ...well "run Kayson run!!"Why's the picture fuzzy you ask? Oh because we were running for our lives. That's all. This is actually zoomed in hahaha!
Anyway...one of my "A" days. So grateful that even though I'm a working mom, I can still find time to be with my favorite date in the world.

Mommy/Son dates are the best! And I totally hear you on the park always ending bad. We ALWAYS get chased by the big white ducks (Geese, whatever they are called) And you are right, they are scary!
Oh man, you were so close to my house and didn't invite us? Shame. Shame. I've always wanted to try that cupcake shop too, but it seems like they have really weird hours. But now I have something to look forward to after my diet is over! Good luck with yours, btw. :)
