Mother's Day Bliss

To simply say I was blessed this Mother's Day just would not be enough. I thought this holiday was going to be really tough for me with 3 of my children being in the hospital because Mother's Day I just love to snuggle and bask in the love of my little ones all day long. But my heart was definitely full of joy today regardless.

I had all the time I wanted with my little Kayson, then 3 hours alone with my girls...and the icing on the cake was when we got to bring Kayson in to meet his little sisters in person for a special treat. We had our first family photo & I can't tell you how great it felt to be in the presence of ALL of my little ones. Kayson was so excited about his sisters and kept saying how cute they were and how sweet they looked. He was definitely smitten.

My husband and my children made this a wonderful day. Usually I post about the great mothers in my life every year, but you know who you are and I am so blessed to have such great mothers who love us and are there for us and so fun to spend time with. I only wish I'd had more time to spend with you this year but I couldn't get enough of my own little ones!

It was a wonderful day and nothing makes me happier in this life than having this opportunity. No job has been as fulfilling, no sacrifice as rewarding. I'm living my dream!

"I never knew how much love my heart could hold, until someone called me mommy."
