One Month Down

Before we venture into Love month, here are some Instagram pics from our life in January.
New Years Resolutions Night

Doing what I do best...hanging out with my kidlets all day in pajamas...
 Enjoying many Christmas gifts!
This one is called The Mat. The hubs got it for me (by request) and I couldn't love it more. It's a miracle for people in the cake biz! I cringe when I think of the dozens of hours this would have saved me if I'd had this years ago. <cringe>. If you're curious about it, follow the link above and check it out!

And this piece of work...just call me twitterpated...
I've been cooking a lot more. Again. I use to LOVE cooking, it was a priority hobby! But it's been really hard to keep up with it since the triplets were born. I'm slowly getting back up to speed and enjoying every minute of it!
A little Manicotti Recipe I made up...

And of course, lots of baking...but that's no surprise if you know me.
A new favorite in our home, Biscoff spread! Heaven help us all. Whoever invented this stuff is a sinner, that's for sure. It tastes just like those amazing cookies on the airplane that you just can't get enough of. Literally, they cut you off. And now you can enjoy it by the spoonfuls in the comfort of your own home. See...sinful!
I am trying to find a way to work it into every recipe I can...and no surprise, they ALL turn out good!

The troublesome trio has been at it again, and again...and again.
Here they are terrorizing brother's room while he's at school. You just can't leave doors unlocked in this house.

And here's a video of it...

The girls have a major shoe fetish. I'm constantly searching the house for my missing shoes. And I secretly love it :)
This little Saydee bug is obsessed with big style. She prefers anything that ISN'T hers. She often shows up to breakfast in brother's hats, a glove or two, and it's not a meal without giant shoes either. I love this lady.

Saydee does homework with Kayson. Well, she thinks she does. I had to snap this shot because I was so impressed with how well she holds her crayons! She's got it down perfect!

Cakepop stop! Cuz it isn't dinner without a little sugar on a stick first, right? Or maybe, just MAYBE mom was having a hard time cooped up in the house and had to escape!

Those smiles...insanely cute. Proof they don't mind spending too many nights on the couch!

And finally...FINALLY they're giving me something to work with! After trying the DoTerra Essential oils for a month and then adding in the shampoo and conditioner, the girls hair really started to sprout. And I am having lots of fun with what they have, as you can see...

And, although we were completely dreading 9am church this year, we're actually loving it. It suits us perfectly and still allows us enough time to enjoy the rest of the Sabbath together without rushing around. Welcome back Sunday naps!

So there you have it. January in the bag. I wish I had more pics of Kayson but lately I feel like it's going to take setting up a trap to catch that kid! He loves...LOVES to be outside in the snow. Even after a long FULL day at kindergarten, he's asking to go play outside before he even sets his backpack down. He's not a big fan of the camera lately. But his 6th birthday is this week and he'll get plenty time in the spotlight whether he likes it or not!

Lara, we use rosemary, melaleuca, lavender and peppermint. About 10 drops of each into the shampoo bottle!!

I am glad that you answered that question about hair. I was a bit curious also. Your family is darling. I really loved your post about mom's previously. I too hope yet also know that it is true.

Use Rosemary if they are brunette and Roman Chamomile if they are blonde

I love all of your posts! Don't know how you keep up on all of it. It is such a blessing to have these kiddos and I definitely think some days are perfect and some days are horrible! You are an incredible mom and I am jealous of how together and calm you are! If I could just have some of your talent!
