LAVA CAMPING TRIP

Hallelujah! We finally made it camping for the 1st time this year! We cruised up to the Hunt family property in Lava Hot Springs for Memorial Day and although we were rained out most of the time, it was so nice to take a breath of fresh mountain air. Complete with hobo dinners, s'mores, breakfast burritos, hoodies, muddy shoes, fish polin, and late night delirious talk it was one of many future Lava campouts we're looking forward to as a family. We'll work our way up to a trailer one day but for now we'll take whatever we can get (which happened to be the bed of the trucks this time). We've always been campers but this was our first time with the 3 of us and it really felt good to start the tradition off.

He loved chillin by the campfire in his chair. He looks so relaxed. He's definately at home with this campin stuff. (atta boy Kays!!)

K funny story...he had a "dancing mound" that he would rock out on. I don't know who told him that camping is a time to freestyle but he was all over it. And he would only dance on this specific mound of dirt. This kid was a crack up. Notice him gettin jiggy in the background on the 2nd pic.
