Best Bridal Shower Ever!!!

Ok so I am definately in the right family. Erik's sister is as much into party planning as I am (if not more!) and she threw THE BEST bridal shower for me. I am always the one throwing parties for other people and for once it was a nice change to have one done for me... I'm not use to that and it was so sweet!! I felt soooo lucky!!! She went all out and put so much work into making everything by hand. I loved a lot of her ideas and just when I thought I'd seen it all she raised the bar! I can't wait to steal some of her great ideas. To those of you that attended..thanks again for the great gifts. I get all gaga when I get kitchen & cooking stuff!!! She's the best...enjoy the pics!!

Cute tissue paper centerpiece
Mom in front of the cute tissue paper balloons

"Thank You" goodies

The cute hot pink/black themed treat table!

Darling cupcakes (lots of hard work on the pinwheels!

Covered Marshmallow pops (I'm a huge fan of random dessert pops!)

Mmm...oreos

Animal Crackers

Good & Plenty

Licorice (don't you love the cute labels she made??)

Cake Balls-my personal favorite!! Anything you can make into a truffle ball I'm a huge fan of!

Appetizer plate (veggies, berry jello salad, tomato & cheese bread-sooo tasty!

How cute are the labels she made for the water. I can't wait to get my own Cricut!!

The "After" pic...we had drink mix packets to flavor our water

Some people...

Our activity was totally geared around things I love to do. Becky (MIL) came up with the idea of making calendar pages for Erik and I. They put fun dates to remember on there and also added lots of "kiss her today" type of comments with both naughty and nice things for us to remember to do. Definately a calendar for our bedroom is all I have to say.

Making calendars....

They had tons of cut outs, papers, fun scissors...she even brought the Cricut. We had it all!

Here are a couple of pages I made.

I filled this one up more later when we all got more crazy!
Oh fun...gift time!

Ok call me a nerd but how cute are these wrapping jobs?! It made me feel like a 9 yr old girl again...loved it!
