Happy Birthday Dad!

We had a little get together for my dad's 50th birthday. He's not big on parties so I had to keep it low key (not enough fun for me!). His favorite gift was the thought jar I put together for him. Because it's his 50th, I had my sisters and I divide up 50 things we love about him, are grateful for, or have fond memories of with him. I didn't know how well it would go over but he LOVED it!!! He went through and read everything and we loved taking a walk down memory lane and just laughing over the past. It was so great to see the smiles on his face. I'm so glad we got the opportunity to show him what a difference he's made in our lives and how much we love him and all he did to sacrifice for our family and raise us in a way that made us better people. Happy 50th Dad!!!
