So there you have it. It costs about half a million dollars to have triplets in 2011. All I can say is thank goodness for Health Insurance and the portions it DOES cover.

Oh my gosh. Isn't that INSANE! Like you said, thank heavens for insurance!!!! I'm glad you posted that, I'm going to have Russ read it... he still thinks it'd be awesome to have triplets just because of our last name (that's about as far as he thinks).
Haha...I actually just found another stack of claims so I'm adding to the number and updating the post haha! That is funny though!
Holy Moly! That is crazy. I had two of my kids spend time in the NICU and thought that was expensive.
Holy cow! That is a triplet amount of bills! Thank goodness for insurance. I always thought it would be fun to have multiples.. it's crazy how much it really costs in reality!!
WoW! How much does your insurance cover???? Hopefully a VERY large portion of that bill. I couldn't even imagine, not to mention the diapers, clothes, and formula it must take to provide for them! Hospital are expensive but thank heavens for technology that saves these little ones that might not make it otherwise :)
That is crazy! I hope your insurance covers a lot of that. And just think that was only for the hospital bills. What about everything else lol. Oh wait maybe you shouldn't think about it:)
I think it is funny how people without multiples think it would be "fun" to have multiples. Ha ha ha!
We lucked out and had BBG triplets @ 36 wks and NO NICU. Insurance covered everything for the pregnancy and delivery! The BIG cost to use came when we left the hospital:
Diapers, formula, food, clothes, car, etc. Soooo worth it but soooo expensive!
You MUST get a choo choo wagon tho. #1 item I could not live w/out. Good Luck!
