Technically my 3 Little Stooges aren't 9 months until the 19th, but I couldn't wait any longer to post.
I have to say these last 3 months are the ones we've noticed the most growth and development. Somewhere between September and now they morphed from preemies to babies!! It's incredible looking back at pictures and seeing how small they were. They are so incredibly active now and even their personalities have changed. Some quick facts:
*They're all eating solids 3 times a day now. This is seriously quite the event in our home. Sometimes it doesn't go so smooth...meaning it's not uncommon for one or two of them to cry through the entire meal because they have to take turns. We don't have a table yet that's big enough to sit them all in their eating chairs so for now they eat in bumbos on the floor. Not ideal but it gets them fed.
Here are some fun photos of daddy feeding them. Typical-Saydee crying while waiting her turn. She likes to attack it sometimes and gets crazy excited when it's her turn!
The girls take 2 long naps a day (morning & afternoon) and they go to bed at 8pm and sleep til about 8am. Which is GRAND. We still do things in the same routine here. Sleep, feed, play. In that order only. Repeat. They're going through about 30 diapers a day still. And I'm embarrassed to say they only get about 3 baths a week. It's just not easy bathing 3 babies by yourself. I try my best to wait until Erik's home so it helps a little. I still manage on my own...just takes more time & patience.
Does this look like a daycare facility or what?
We got the girls some pit balls for Christmas. Kayson is pretty jealous. We often find him sneaking in the pit when we're not around!

Hallie-8 Months
17 lbs
Hallie has turned into our sweet, soft spoken baby. She doesn't babble as much as the others but she loves to make sweet coos and it's the sweetest thing. She loves to snuggle and lay her head on you...one of my favs. She's just very quiet, patient, angelic and sweet sweet sweet!!! I am still a sucker for her gorgeous blue eyes. And the chunk on this girl just makes me giddy. I love her baby fat so much!! As usual, brother makes her laugh a lot. She's not rolling over yet but she's getting closer to sitting on her own. She recently learned to stand when held which is a big one for her. We worked on this for months and the new jumper really helped! We recently discovered a new cry of hers. When she gets hurt or picked on by her sisters she has the most "poor me" cry ever. It's kinda funny. Sorry Hal.

Wow. There is so much to say about our Princess. And Princess is an understatement. She is the one that has just TOTALLY come out of her shell!! She's 9 months going on 16 with all the emotional drama she brings to the table. Her grandparents said it best, "she's going to cry when she breaks a nail". Yup. She's our tall skinny one...I still don't know where she puts it...she eats the same as her sisters! She loves to lay and play in her bed...talking to sisters. She's progressed so much that you'd think she was a couple months older than her sisters. She's been rolling all over for a couple months now, can almost sit, holds her own bottle, dances, says "mama" & "dada" and is very figity. All over the place. What I love most about her is how cuddly she is. She's like a monkey. She wraps her body all over you, curls into you, drapes her arms all over and wraps them around your neck. She is constantly holding your face and pulling you in. She LOVES to talk to you and dance. She does this bouncing thing with her legs and gets CRAZY excited jumping around when you come to pick her up out of the crib. She's just such a happy lover bum!!

Saydee's WAY funny giggle...
Saydee has really gone from our "wild feisty one" to my sweet Curious George. She's harder to explain this month. She can be pretty quiet lately but not because she's reserved...she just loves to be in her own little world. She will sit and watch everyone and everything around her for a long time. She'll play by herself and she still talks to lights...as if she's having a very deep conversation. A little nutty but super cute. I love to hear her giggle. She's very greedy with her laughs though...we'll tickle and tickle and she'll hold her breath and tighten up. She hates letting them out. But if catch her off guard it's THE CUTEST most contagious giggle ever! She loves to smile. Really brightens up our home just like I mentioned in my Thanksgiving post. She's not rolling over yet, sits with help and has always preferred standing over sitting. She still wakes up the neighborhood when she cries...just like the NICU predicted. She LOVES to eat. She rarely makes it through a feeding without crying out of impatience. Gotta love her!!
A couple of my favorite recent pics of the girls...

I love love love this! I watched every video and read every word. They all have the cutest giggles. Saydees is hilarious! Very unique. And Aria does the exact same thing. She's greedy with her giggles. She screams in delight a lot but to get her giggling you have to do a lot! She holds her breathe and tenses until we stop. Goof ball. We are coming over for a visit very soon!!
Look at how big and gorgeous they are! They have come so far in 8 months- they're healthy, happy, and as cute as can be! It's fun to see them grow up through your posts.
