Kayson woke up to streamers, balloons and presents on the table as usual. His birthday was on Tuesday the 1st and we didn't have his party til Saturday the 4th. But the big FIVE is a big deal so we still had a great day for him. He had an extra birthday cake, a pizza/movie lunch and Grandma & Grandpa Hunt took us to dinner at Texas Roadhouse.
He was pretty stoked about his first bike...oh yeah...and Tummy Yummies..
I admit, I don't know what came over me but I totally got choked up when everyone did the yeehaw for Kayson. I'm sensitive about my puppy...what can I say?? I can't BELIEVE I have a 5 year old! But look at him...could he be any more handsome?

He had a Race Car themed birthday party. Complete with a hot dog concession stand and a Red Racing Mustang cake at his request...

After the party, these boys had so much fun, they even broke a woopie cushion...how do you do that?? haha! Boys will be boys...

Happy Birthday Kayson! Can you believe we are old enough to have 5 year olds? Craziness! And like always, I love his cake & party decorations. You are on talented lady!
I totally know what you mean about tearing up at Texas Roadhouse! We took Kamryn there for her birthday and I did the same thing. It's ok to be a proud momma. Happy Birthday Kayson!
