Happy Dad's Day

Father's Day comes less than a week after Erik's birthday usually. Kind of a bummer because it's all squeezed in the same week...but then again it's always a week of Erik! This year was a little stressful because Erik was on call all day so he was constantly in and out of the house visiting patients, even during church...ugh!

But we had a great Father's Day breakfast and invited Grandpa Bart over.

I'm so grateful for the amazing Fathers in our lives. We're beyond lucky to have such great fatherly examples. We couldn't be more blessed!

I'm especially grateful for the father that my darling husband is. His responsibilities as a father have grown and changed so much since we met 5 years ago...especially in the last year. From day one, the fatherly love that came so naturally to him was one of his greatest qualities in my eyes. I've been the lucky girl that has been able to have his children...even the crazy 3 at once...and be able to watch his qualities as a father grow and mature. He's my dream father for our children. Our children are so lucky to have a father that set an example for them by serving a mission, marrying in the temple, and being a worthy Priesthood holder. He works so hard for our family and still makes family time and fun a priority in his life. Our children have so much to look up to. Thanks babe...for being everything our children deserve.
