Our youngest sister, Becca is expecting her first baby and it's going to be a sweet little boy! Technically, this is my first "blood relative niece/nephew" as uncharming as that sounds. All of my nieces and nephews up to this point have been on my husbands side so there is something really exciting and different about this. That may sound silly but to see your own siblings that you grew up with, who's diapers you changed and bottles you made, now having a baby of their own is just straight up weird! Good weird. I can't wait!
Lindsey and I teamed up to throw a Baby Shower for her.
A little background first...
When Becca and I were talking about nursery themes for Sawyer the colors that she really wanted were gray, red and white. I sent her a bunch of fun ideas to do with gray/white chevron and stripes on the walls and some cute bedding. Although she had some great ideas of her own too and has put together the CUTEST nursery!! We decided to do a shower that would match the nursery a little so that she could re-use some items.

Yes, I know, sock monkeys are stinkin adorable and I'm just going to say that if I could do Kayson's first birthday all over again I would do it exactly the way we did the shower because it is just too cute for words.
