One of the common longterm concerns with preemies is their vision. Our triplets were so blessed and bypassed any eye concerns when they were born. But they have to go in for yearly checkups just to make sure everything is still ok and nothing develops.
When they were 5 months old this visit was a different story because they just laid there innocently in their infant carriers. But now that they're older, I chose to divide up their appts. I took Saydee alone and Payten & Hallie went together. I'm not going to say it was easy to keep 19 month old toddlers calm while a stranger put drops in their eyes and went through an exam. But, overall it wasn't as bad as I imagined because it was over pretty quickly.
All of the girls did really well which is always great to hear.
Unfortunately, I only took pictures of Saydee's appt. You can't imagine why I wouldn't have time to take pics when I was alone with the other two toddlers right? Thought so. Thanks for letting this one slide.
I just can't get over how precious Saydee looks all bundled up in her peacoat and shoes. And look at her big girl phone...so fancy Nancy. I just wanna pinch her cheeks!
