Summer is FINALLY here. No one appreciates that quite as much as a mom that's been hibernating indoors for 9 months!!! Truth be told, I pretty much walked outside EVERY day during the month of May searching for sunshine and hauling the kids out in it every chance I got. We're so glad it's finally here to stay. We've been enjoying our backyard this year more than ever. Last year the girls were still learning to walk, hated the itchy grass and the bright sun in their eyes. This year I have a hard time dragging them back in the house! I love every minute of it because I get to work on my gardening and babysit my flowers while I'm out there too.

Our first time using the Firepit!! Yaaaay....or not. Saydee tried to blow it out the whole time and Hallie refused to face it. Kayson is clearly keeping a reasonable distance (with coat & beanie might I add)
Another water day...
Hallie isn't present during most of these photos. She only likes the water if she can control it. Give her a stream of water and a cup and she's all good though.
Thank heavens for little blessings like a mini hill in our backyard!
