Twas The Night Before Christmas...

Holidays in the Hunt family are all about traditions. Without them our holidays would be bland and lack the flavor that keeps this season alive for us! I'd like to share some of our Christmas Eve Traditions with you because I look forward to this day ALL YEAR LONG!!

#1 Last minute wrapping:
(this is as much wrapping as you'll see)

#2 (and my personal favorite) The Famous Finger Food Feast!!
I cannot even explain how much food there is this night. It's like a buffet you can only dream of!

some rough housing with the nephews
This really is how Kayson felt all season-obsessed with Santa

The 3 Brothers
The Hunts make cute babies don't ya think? Even cuter grandkids!

Before...
and after...

#3 Singing Christmas Carols around the piano

(Becky always ends up in tears-it's my favorite)

#4 Setting out treats, Egg Nog & Magic Deer flying food for Santa & his Reindeer
Reindeer food is Kayson's favorite part. Here's the recipe:
Oats
Glitter or sparkle snow
Baggy
Last, but the most important part: A child must shake it with their "Christmas Belief" to make it turn magic

#5 Reading "Twas the Night Before Christmas"

#6 Finishing up the night with "Christmas Vacation" (after little one is in bed...)

I told him Santa was going to be upset with a half glass of Egg Nog, so I refilled it when he wasn't looking.

Christmas...yaaaaaay. No, seriously I think that's what I said. I'm a nerd.
