A Soy Bean from Heaven

My sweet little sister Becca gave birth to her little Soy Bean on January 4th, 2013.
My first (blood) nephew has finally arrived and joined our silly family!
I was heartbroken that I came down with pneumonia (for the 2nd time) the day that he was born. Completely tore me up not getting to meet my little Sawyer for several days.

He is precious.
He is perfect.
Daddy is a natural.
Mama is glorious.
Together they are a forever family.

Just like every first time mom, it hasn't been easy for sweet sis so I've had the opportunity to be there for her in ways I haven't before. Being a mom of 4 (and triplets) gives you experience and knowledge you didn't know would come in handy other than for your own survival purposes. It's felt so wonderful to be able to be there for her and hold her hand through it all. It's brought us closer together. Bonds like these remind me how blessed I am to have sisters. And maybe now she'll finally understand why washing my hair and wearing a bra everyday has lost the importance it once had. Yeah, I said it.
I can't wait to continue getting to know this little guy and he's already moved into my heart and made a nice comfy home there. I miss him ALL.THE.TIME!
To my little Becca, you are glorious. You are now more than you ever use to be because you're a mother. It's a gift only God can give. It's a gift that places you closer to Heaven and closer to the help of the Lord. "Motherhood is near to divinity; It is the highest, holiest service to be assumed by mankind. It places her who honors its holy calling and service next to the angels." You're doing God's work little sis, and when things seem to be at their hardest, don't forget that He is blessing you and that one day you WILL miss this. Have faith in Him because He WILL make you whole and you are making memories that last more than a lifetime.
